FreeDen® is free to join for both dental companies and clinicians. We operate on a project-based commission model, meaning we earn a fee when a paid collaboration is successfully facilitated through the platform. For standard projects, commission is applied to both the company and clinician side and is clearly disclosed and agreed upon before any project begins. For larger or more complex projects, typically above a defined budget threshold, FreeDen® works directly with the company through a one-to-one project request. This allows us to ensure appropriate scoping, governance, and support, and may involve adjusted commercial terms reflecting the size and complexity of the engagement. Access to the FreeDen® Library is offered separately through a subscription for companies that want ongoing educational and onboarding resources.

FreeDen® supports clinicians who are new to industry collaboration through a structured training pathway. As part of its vetting process, first-time clinicians can access the Premium Dental Advisor Program, which prepares clinicians to support dental product companies on a part-time, project-based basis. The program covers product development, regulatory and quality considerations for medical products and software, and corporate readiness. It is delivered through a combination of online learning and one-to-one sessions led by Dr Namrata Upadhyay, Founder & CEO of FreeDen®. Clinicians who successfully complete the program are onboarded into the FreeDen® platform and gain access to paid, part-time project opportunities with dental companies.

As of Q1 2026, FreeDen® works with 400+ pre-vetted dental clinicians across 37 countries. For project-specific work, FreeDen® provides access to vetted clinician profiles, and for broader initiatives, FreeDen® runs clinician outreach projects directly with companies.

No. FreeDen® is not a recruitment platform. However, companies can collaborate with clinicians on a part-time, project-based basis, which may naturally evolve into longer-term working relationships. We recommend this approach as it allows both sides to work together first, reducing the risk of mismatches, lost time, and unnecessary cost.

FreeDen® offers Clinical Market Validation Sprints as an end-to-end service for companies looking to test new markets. These sprints gather structured input from real, independent dental clinicians on product ideas, pricing, and adoption potential, and can support the creation of early adopter waiting lists ahead of a launch. Clinicians participate independently and may simply share why they would—or would not—use a product, providing honest, decision-ready insight. In addition, FreeDen® is building the FreeDen® Library, an educational resource for dental product companies. The library supports onboarding and market entry by covering dental terminology, regulatory requirements across multiple regions, how to design effective and internationally recognised clinical studies, and practical marketing playbooks on how dental clinicians think and how to approach them effectively.
